NCWNZ are those charitable objects and purposes which are recognised by the Court of New Zealand as being charitable, including to:. Serve women, the family and the community at the local, national andinternational level ;Research the needs of women and the family; Engage in education for women, that helps in to advance omen, the family and the community; Collect and redistribute information of service to the community; Maintain links with the National Councils of women in other countries through the International Council of Women; and Do anything incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above objects. Notwithstanding Rule 4.1: NCWNZ is non-party political and non-sectarian, and is not organised for the furtherance of any one interest; and NCWNZ has no power over the organisations and persons affiliated to it, except to the extent necessary to ensure compliance with this Constitution NCWNZ is committed to honouring Te Tiriti O Waitangi, the Treatry of Waitangi
