Mission: Mātāpono (Principles) : The Society will adhere to and reflect the Tiriti o Waitangi. Whainga (Objectives): The object of the Society will be to provide a unified and focused delivery of Māori education services to learning institutions throughout Aotearoa. Act as a link providing professional strategies and information for Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga programmes. Be proactive in initiatives pertaining to the revitalisation of Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga in education and carry on any other activities consistent with the charitable object of the Society.
