Musselburgh Baptist Church

The Aims and functions of the church are based on an understanding of Isaiah 61 and Jesus fulfillment of it. In recognition of this the statement “Oaks of Righteousness for the display of his splendor” and the symbols of the acorn and the oak tree have been taken to represent the church as it fulfills the following purposes 3.1 To develop a loving, worshipping community of people committed to growing to maturity in Jesus Christ as Lord, Saviour and God. 3.2 To use the gifts given by the Holy Spirit, to practically serve one another, our local community, and beyond so that His purposes may be fulfilled, helping people both into relationship with God the Father and His new community the Church. 3.3 To be a family of God’s people in mission who study the Bible, worship, serve, care, pray and grow together.
