Mona Semke Trust

The Mona Semke Trust was established on 12 April 2000 to celebrate and honour the contribution to Otago's cultural and community activities by the late Mona Semke. The Trust was established with the sum of $38,688.39 which was raised by gifts and donations and the proceeds of a memorial concert held in the Regent Theatre, Dunedin on 28 April 1991. The purpose of the Trust is to assist distinguished young performers in obtaining tuition, training, education and by participation in high grade competition and performance in the medium of their practice within the performing arts.
