MIKIMIKI CONSERVATION TRUST

The trust’s purposes include (a) purchase or administer land identified as ecologically significant and ensure its legal protection when appropriate; (b) manage and carry out the elimination or control of pest species in order to rehabilitate or restore natural habitats; (c) fund research into accelerating or enhancing ecological rehabilitation and restoration; (d) raise public awareness on the value of conservation and restoration of New Zealand’s indigenous flora and fauna.
