Mid Canterbury Youth Charitable Trust

The purposes shall be deemed to mean and include any one or more of the following : [a] to help and support the educational, social, emotional and physical development of youth in Mid Canterbury [b] to provide support for the youth in Mid Canterbury who are socially disadvantaged and come from dysfunctional families [c] without restricting the scope of the foregoing, to provide facilities and other appropriate assistance for the benefit of youth in Mid Canterbury [d] to foster and encourage youth to improve their self-esteem, behaviour and fulfil their potential [e] to do all such other acts and things that are incidental to and will further promote the attainment of the objects of the Trust or any of them, provided that nothing in this Deed will authorise any object that is not charitable at law in New Zealand [f] to provide support and funding for programmes which aim to uplift the educational, social, emotional and physical development of youth in Mid Canterbury.
