Mission
The purpose of the VRFB is to undertake fire prevention measures as deemed necessary and to respond to and extinguish fires in vegetation within its designated area of responsibility for the benefit of the community. Where practicable, the VRFB will also be available to assist other Fire Brigades under control of the Wellington / Wairarapa Region.
