Mason Foundation Trust

The general purposes of the Foundation shall be to encourage and promote the scientific activities of the Canterbury Museum by means of financial assistance to enable it to carry out field work, acquire specimens by collection or purchase, publish the results of scientific research, employ temporary assistants, purchase equipment and supplies and be represented by staff members at scientific conferences in New Zealand or abroad.
