Mapping Analysis and Information Network Trust, New Zealand

5.1 The charitable objects of the Trust shall be to provide an on-line mapping service that enables the collection of fine-scale community data using approved digital standards in order to: a. educate students at all levels (and their communities) about their environment; b. enhance safety and harmony within communities by enabling individuals to record and share data about dangers (including criminal activity and natural disasters) and community resources in a manner that is easily accessible to others in the community; c. facilitate conservation initiatives and the protection of community cultural values; and d. do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the provisions set out in sub-clauses a to c. 5.2 The activities of the Trust shall be carried out exclusively for charitable purposes and not for the private pecuniary gain of any person. The income and Property of the Trust shall be applied solely towards the activities of the Trust.
