The objectives and purposes of the Trust are: A) To provide and/or strive for improved community-based care services, and to support and promote services and programmes including the development and training and rehabilitation and employment programmes of all kinds for people in the community who require Kaupapa Maori based support services. B) To foster community collaboration to assist in the improvement of the general well-being of people in the community who require Kaupapa Maori based support services. C) To provide culturally and socially appropriate programmes for people in the community who require Kaupapa Maori based support services which meet the need of Taha Wairua, Taha Tinana, Taha Hinengaro and Taha whanau. D) To encourage and support the involvement of whanau, hāpu, iwi and the community in the planning and implementation of services to those that require Kaupapa Maori based support services.
