To promote & protect natural values of NZ Tussock lands, particularly in relation to the spread of wilding pines and other weed trees in the Mackenzie Basin. Also to educate, inform and raise awareness of the issues & resource and co-ordinate efforts of stakeholders. To prevent the spread of wilding conifers, & reduce the impact on catchment water yields.
