Lions Club of Kaikoura Incorporated

1 To promote the improvement of literacy and numeracy through the provision of resources to kindergartens, schools and other educational institutions. 2 To improve our community by meeting needs of the following through service and fundraising projects: needs of the aged or infirm; needs of men, women and children; needs of those affected by poverty; public health needs. 3 To promote the development of leadership and vocational skills in the community. 4 To improve public amenities, the natural environment, emergency services, animal welfare, social rehabilitation services. 5 To improve assistance to other charitable organizations. 6 To improve assistance to our community in times of disaster. 7 To encourage participation in the community on a non-partisan basis. 8 The objects are to be carried out for the people of New Zealand, and outside of NZ to promote the activities of Lions International.
