Present purpose is an art & museum gallery displaying art and archives from NZ past and contemporary art and material of cultural education significance and provides a community activity and welfare centre. Operate under the High Court Consent Order of the case A.C.C. vs Manning Q.C. terms and conditions as an Auckland Council lease property category 1 significant historic property within the limitations of the operations of the John Kinder House Society Constitution as a sustainable Botanical pollinator garden reserve for native birds, insects and plants. Assist Charity groups raise funding , VSA, Butterflies & Moths, Heart4Kids Homeless by hosting events & functions as fund raisiers.
