We value the importance of providing excellent education and care; reflecting the interests and values of the children, family/whanau, educators, and the community of Kids At Play. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: 1. To promote quality childcare for all children enrolled at the Centre. 2. To advance education through providing early childhood education, as required by the Childcare Regulations 2014 and in line with the Ministry of Education recommendations. 3. To ensure the Childcare Centre is self-supporting, and all profits are used for the benefits of the Childcare Centre and children attending the Centre. 4. To foster the social, emotional and physical development of infants and children through: a. A safe caring environment. b. A balance of activity, rest and good nutrition. c. The provision of an on-going programme to encourage the education and development of children. d. Effective communications with parents and their children
