About

Ki A Ora Ngatiwai Trust (KAONT) was established by trust in in July 1999 by the people of Ngatiwai, purposed to deliver health services to whanau, hapu, of the Ngatiwai Iwi. KAONT deliver a range of primary care and public health services across the bulk of the iwi boundaries of Ngatiwai. There are fourteen marae constituted by the Ngatiwai Trust Board, and active within KAONT's service delivery area encompassing approximately 20,000 people of whom 29% are Maori. Ki A Ora Ngatiwai Trust is a Charitable Trust with a vision to excel as a leading non government provider of Primary Health/Whanau Ora Services in the Ngatiwai rohe, enhancing the lives of all people so that they may fulfill their potential through having excellent health and personal wellbeing.
