•To support the communities who grow ingredients for products made by Karma Drinks and other entities within the Karma Drinks group of companies so they can trade their way out of poverty towards economic independence. • To empower producer communities to determine how the Trust’s funding is applied. • To be fair and act in a way that is consistent with the principles of “Fair Trade” offering a fair price for goods, fair working conditions, environmental and economic sustainability. • To respect culture through recognising, promoting and protecting the cultural identity of producer communities. • To support women’s economic empowerment in developing countries with a focus on education and gender equality. • To respect all environmental and human resources. • To advocate on behalf of pubic good issues including international development, third-world producers, producer empowerment, organic and fair trade issues; and • To support such other charitable causes sharing similar objectives.
