Via the provision of artistic residencies, workshops, talks and short courses at Karekare House, the trust aims to : enable creatives to produce significant projects that tell 'our' stories within New Zealand and on the world stage; advance education of the arts and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of the arts; promote and encourage aesthetic education by facilitating presentations to the public of artwork of a high class;
