Making a positive difference, to the immediate and long term safety and well-being of individuals and families in our community, through the provision of co-ordinated social services (Family Support, Building Financial Capability, Counselling, Domestic Violence Intervention, Supervised Contact) Qualified staff provide guidance, support and advocacy, in collaboration with external organisations and groups to empower individuals and families to identify and address any concerns that are impacting negatively on their lives, Volunteers continue to support the organisation as committee members, receptionists, holiday programme and camp leaders. Kainga Aroha was awarded the Community Supreme Award, at the 2018 Waipa Trustpower Annual Community Awards, in recognition of the outstanding contribution to the Waipa Community.
