Horowhenua Supergrans

Horowhenua SuperGrans delivers quality life skills in collaboration with the local community. Our mission is to assist the people of our community, particularly those living on a limited financial income, encouraging them to participate effectively in their community. We offer a free service to the people in our community who lack the resources and money to maintain a basic life style. We foster a sense of support and improved self-confidence in the people we work with through personal contact between mentors and the clients. We provide practical tuition to enable the client to learn new skills in many different areas. We provide educational programmes for both clients and mentors, that will enhance their ability to have a more effective and fulfilling lifestyle. We provide an opportunity for people to increase their knowledge and independence. We work both one to one and in groups, dependent on need.
