Holy Trinity Cathedral Music Scholarships Trust

To preserve and promote the rich musical tradition and heritage of the Christian Church practised at the Cathedral; to continue and make a contemporary contribution to that tradition and heritage at the Cathedral and to pass it on for the benefit of succeeding generations; to develop the musical talents of whose who contribute to music in worship at the Cathedral, whether as singers, organists, conductors, or otherwise, and to encourage and educate young people in these roles; to support the above religious and educational purposes by awarding scholarships and grants to Cathedral choristers, organists and other musicians at the Cathedral; to recognise long or distinguished service to music in worship at the Cathedral by choristers, organists and other musicians; to encourage and support the attainment and maintenance of the highest standards of choral and organ music in worship in the Cathedral.
