To promote, advance and respond to the social, educational and recreational needs and general well being of people by; (a) encouraging, supporting and advocating learning and education and promoting life long learning opportunities throughout New Zealand; (b) promoting, catering or responding to the social, recreational and educational needs and general well being of elderly people and assisting, supporting and encouraging groups in the commuity; (c) encouraging and promoting sports, recreation and leisure activities for the community and partnering with other organisations in the sports industry to provide sports training, opportunities and competition to people to encourage and promote sports as means for enhancement of the comminity's health and well being; (d) identifying educational needs of the students (of secondary and tertiary education) studying in New Zealand and providing financial or other assistance by scholarship; and more information is to be found at our rules.
