HAIL promotes and protects the rights, safety, and participation of disabled people and individuals with high health needs by ensuring accessibility obligations in law, policy, and public funding are applied transparently and effectively in practice. Originally founded as a story hub for families navigating high health needs, HAIL has evolved into a governance-focused organisation working at the intersection of lived experience, law, research, and practical implementation. HAIL’s charitable purposes include: Advancing accessibility and inclusion in the built environment Promoting lawful compliance with accessibility standards Conducting and publishing research on the social and economic impact of inaccessibility Supporting evidence-based reform of funding and infrastructure systems HAIL operates for public benefit and is non partisan.
