Hahei Community Centre Incorporated
About
The principal purpose of the Society is to control and manage the Hahei Community Hall and associated Village Green (collectively known as the Hahei Community Centre) owned by the Thames Coromandel District Council, pursuant to a formal agreement between the Society and the Council. To achieve this purpose, the Society: a) encourages the local community to use the Community Centre and promote its facilities with the aim of fostering friendship and socialisation. b) makes the Community Centre’s facilities available for the use and enjoyment of residents, ratepayers, visitors, clubs and groups on such rental and on such terms as the Executive Committee shall determine. An additional purpose of the Society is to promote and further the interests of Hahei and in particular the development, improvement, beautification, conservation and maintenance of public areas, buildings, reserves, and community services.
