Great Barrier Island Community Health Trust

Great Barrier Island Community Health Trust aims to provide and maintain quality facilities and equipment, and a suitable vehicle fleet, to support provision of quality health care in this isolated community. To equip and maintain the Community Health Centre at Claris, Community Dental Clinic and the Nurses Cottage at Port FitzRoy, Great Barrier Island, by fundraising, lobbying and management of the current resources, including the vehicle fleet. To devote particular attention to health on Great Barrier Island and in this regard to take steps to promote, encourage and create good health awareness within the community.
