Great Barrier Island Coastguard Rescue Incorporated

We are the charity saving lives at Sea, we act under the direction and guidance of Coastguard New Zealand. We operate rescue vessels in the waters surrounding Great Barrier, the Colville Channel, parts of the Coromandel Peninsula including parts of the Firth of Thames. We also work with the community of Great Barrier island to keep boaties safe.
