Mission: Gisborne Museum of Art and History Trust’s mission is to operate Tairāwhiti Museum as a gateway/waharoa and resource for the art, culture and heritage of our communities. Our aims are: 1. To foster the recognition and interpretation of Tairāwhiti’s heritage landscape and develop the Museum as a key point from which this landscape is interpreted; 2.
