Gisborne Budget Moni Ora is an autonomous non-profit organisation that exists to build financial capability in Gisborne - Tairāwhiti, Aotearoa. Vision: The people of Tairāwhiti have the skills to manage their finances competently. Mission: To help people plan better to live better by offering free budgeting support that is professional and confidential. All services are free to the community and targeted to people who want support with budgeting. The focus is on household finances, not business or commercial finances. The culture of the service is warm and welcoming with staff that show respect to all cultures through manaakitanga and whānaungatanga. The service wants all who enter the door to be comfortable and feel safe. We offer Building Financial Capability (BFC) services that emphasise people’s self-determination and strengths to achieve financial goals, gain control, and make positive changes.
