Gisborne Boys High School 1st XV Rugby Supporters Trust

The primary and main purposes of the trust are those of a “Charitable Entity” (as those words are understood by the Charities Act 2005) for the advancement of education and the promotion of the sport of rugby at the School, particularly at the 1st XV level. Without limiting the application of the provisions of the above in the pursuit of those purposes (a) to foster, support, assist and promote the School’s 1st XV rugby team; (b) to foster, support, assist and promote the sport of rugby in general at the School; (c) without restricting the scope of the foregoing, to provide assistance, playing gear, caps and blazers, equipment, facilities, and other appropriate assistance to the School, the School’s 1st XV rugby team or any other rugby team representing the School; (d) to provide scholarships to further the education of former students at the School who have represented the School’s 1st XV rugby team; (e) to provide boarding scholarships or bursaries to members
