Forest Lifeforce Restoration Trust

To help restore endangered species of NZ fauna and flora to restore the "Ngahere Mauri" (forest life force) in native forest located in the Central North Island, and in other areas that the trustees agree to. The protection and enhancement of the kiwi population in Maungataniwha Forest in Nothern Hawkes Bay and the Whio (blue duck) population in Pohokura Forest in Southern Whirinaki. Such other similar projects in the forests containing endangered species in the need of protection and restoration on privately owned land which is not generally eligible for doc/ Goverment assistance in conjunction with those land owners who offer both commitment and resources towards the projects.
