This is achieved by the implementation of evidence-based injury and violence prevention strategies. To encourage and actively promote a caring and healthy community with the courage to stand up against acts of violence and abuse. This will ensure that our tamariki, rangatahi and whanau will be able to live, work and play in safer public spaces, workplaces, roads, homes and environments. Create supportive pathways and opportunities for youth in employment, training, education and active citizenship through mentorship and positive opportunities to guide them through to adulthood.
