The Charitable Trust was set up to pay an income in perpetuity for the purpose of providing the James and Edna Clark Scholarships to persons who: - Were born in New Zealand. - Are children of Anglican Clergymen. - Are between 16 and 26 years of age. - Desire to study art, in New Zealand, or overseas. - Have shown pronounced talent in the study of science or biology and desire to continue his studies in those subjects at a university.
