Estate George James Howden

The late George James Howden died on 17 March 2007 leaving $80,000 of the residue of his Estate to be held in perpetuity to pay the net annual income to the Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket Club. A Deed of Arrangement dated 31st October 2007 varied the will so that the balance of the residue was to be held for 80 years for the benefit of the Cricket Club, with a power to capitalise up to 20% of net annual income for this period.
