Environment Foundation

The Foundation's purposes are: • the preservation, conservation, protection and enhancement of New Zealand’s natural environment for future generations; • the development of legal, scientific and environmental management skills and the application of best practice to environmental matters; • the adoption of effective environmental governance; • the promotion of public awareness and education about the sustainable management and protection of the New Zealand environment. The Environment Foundation's primary focus is enabling New Zealanders to participate effectively in resource management and environmental processes through education.
