About

Mission

The Society is established and maintained exclusively for charitable purposes (including any purposes ancillary to those charitable purposes), namely: ● to advance and encourage the provision of education classes that promote the arts & crafts, culture and sustainability, in our Ōtepoti, Dunedin community. ● to benefit all learners by providing an inclusive, supportive workshop environment that encourages self-expression, realization and self- determination and reduces barriers to on-going education; ● to demonstrate our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the Treaty of Waitangi, by actively promoting the values of manaakitanga (pastoral care), whanaungatanga (respectful relationships) and rangatiratanga (a learner centered approach) with our learners; and ● to cooperate with other organisations and groups, within and beyond our community, as resources allow, to achieve the above purposes:
