Dunedin Community Mediation

Dunedin Community Mediation is a service which assists people to sort out their disagreements, so they can work out their conflicts without cost being a barrier. Dunedin Community Mediation focuses on three types of intervention. • Mediation for services where the disagreement doesn't require a legal redress or outcome • Facilitation which enables a committee or group of people to have equal input in some strategic process they are working on • Conflict Resolution Coaching where DCM aids the skills of one party in dispute as the other party is unable or unwilling to attend mediation. DCM utilises the voluntary time offered by skilled and accredited mediators and, as such, is able to offer this as a free service to the Dunedin community. DCM exists to build stronger families, organisations, and neighbourhoods through provision of a free mediation service, and seeks to enhance the health and well being in the community through peaceful conflict resolution.
