"Deepavali Charitable Trust (""Deepavali"" or ""Trust"") has been established to: - Relieve poverty, hunger, or the ravages of war or natural disaster in India and other parts of developing Asia; - Relieve sickness and improve medical care (in particular by the advancement of medicine and hospitals) in India and other parts of Asia; - Raise the educational standards in the rural parts of India and other parts of developing Asia. Deepavali achieves its objectives by partnering with local charitable institutions who have a highly effective and efficient logistics and delivery network. Our healthcare and education initiatives are truly remarkable. Our primary activity is we help fund 3x 100% Free Charitable Hospitals and 1x Free School for Girls operating in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state of India with 180 million people with 90% of them living below the poverty line.
