To produce plays for performance to the general public, to promote the study of plays and other dramatic works, to foster and encourage all handicrafts appertaining to the theatre and to the production of plays, to provide workshops, studios, halls, rehearsal rooms and theatres to be used by members and by the general public either gratuitously or for payment.
