Mission: The Dannevirke & Districts Home Budgeting Service (DDHBS) is dedicated to the development of budgeting skills by providing a free, supportive, confidential and culturally aware service. The DDHBS fulfils this mission by: -providing budgeting services for families and individuals -ensuring that advisers are trained and resourced -reflecting Te tIri o Waitangi within our poolicies and practices -recognising and valuing the work of volunteers -identifying gaps in service provision -publicising and promoting budgeting -providing education for the wider community Philosophy Statement “Empowering people to empower themselves” Goals The DDHBS strives to: 1. To conduct professional behaviours and communication at all times 2. Provide on-going Education and Training to the community 3.
