Crohn's & Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust
About
Our charity exists to raise awareness and provide information, social support, and resources for people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We sponsor Camp Purple Live, a six‑day annual camp for more than 80 children and teens with IBD, and host annual events including the Parent Seminar (for caregivers of patients under 17), the Living with IBD Seminar and Workshop (for young adults aged 18–40), and World IBD Day each May. We also support 15 local support groups across the country, promote best practice in treatment through our Working Group, and liaise with government agencies to advocate for improved care. Through educational seminars and community forums, we connect patients, whānau, friends, and medical professionals, ensuring that those affected by IBD feel informed, supported, and empowered.
