Creative Kapiti Charitable Trust

The purposes of the Trust are to further charitable purposes in New Zealand, and in particular, arts in the community.   For the purposes of this deed, “arts” includes all forms of creative and interpretative expression.  To further charitable purposes that promote, encourage and support arts in the community, the Trust may:  1.  Promote and encourage community access to, and participation, interest, awareness, appreciation and experience of the arts through the organisation and promotion of public arts events including exhibitions, screenings, performances and other such events; 2.  Advance community education, understanding and involvement in the arts and with artists through the organisation and promotion of participatory workshops, lectures, conferences and other such events for community groups, schools and other educational institutions; 3.
