Community Housing Aotearoa Incorporated

Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA) is the peak body for New Zealand’s community housing sector. As the national organisation for our 100+ full members we work to represent their voice, supporting the growth and development of community housing providers to better help them provide affordable and social housing. CHA members include full members: community groups, housing trusts, Māori and Pacifica housing providers and tenancy services; and partner members: local authorities, private developers and private housing businesses, who are delivering community housing solutions through-out New Zealand. Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA) aims to: 1) be the voice of the community housing sector 2) build capacity and foster collaboration 3) promote best practice in housing policy 4) champion quality and excellence. CHA has a close relationship with Te Matapihi he Tirohanga mo te Iwi Trust and together work closely supporting Māori and other housing providers across the country.
