Coastguard North Shore's mission is saving lives at sea. We do this by: - being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year for those in need in the inner and outer Hauraki Gulf; - being on the water in our purpose built Coastguard Rescue Vessel every public holiday and weekend; and - training and development of our volunteer crew to ensure that crews are ready day and night to respond to a broad range of situations.
