Clutha District Emergency Services Trust

Clutha District Emergency Services Trust is established to carry out within the Clutha District the following: • To foster cooperation and coordination between groups and agencies providing emergency services within the Clutha District • To provide coverage, assistance and leadership in emergency care, disaster and rescue situations • To educate and train people, both registered and volunteers in emergency care, disaster and rescue skills • To support progressive measures in regard to emergency services and emergency care within the Clutha District • To study and research rescue and emergency care problems and assist in creating and fostering the best possible conditions for planning and facilitating rescue operations in the Clutha District • To undertake any activity directed towards maintaining and improving emergency care, rescue and disaster services for all in the Clutha District.
