Clergy Trust Fund for the Diocese of Hamilton

The object and purpose of the Trust is for Charitable Purposes, specifically for advancing the cause of religion in the Roman Catholic Church in New Zealand by way of providing: (a) Support for Priests; (b) assistance to members of the Clergy where the Bishop in writing, acting out of charity in accordance with Canon Law, wishes to provide that assistance and if so, then limited to the level of assistance agreed to between the Bishop and the Board; and (c) assistance to Permanent Deacons Advancing the cause of religion in the Roman Catholic Church in New Zealand by way of providing support for Priests, assistance to members of the Clergy and assistance to Permanent Deacons
