a. Advance education in Canterbury and West Coast through professional leadership, support and advocacy; b. Provide a professional association that acts as a forum for the issues and challenges faced by the Members; c. Promote the development of skills and qualifications for Members; d. Foster a collegial support network for Members; e. Represent the view of Members in educational groups and or other relevant groups.
