Mission
The Association organises mathematics competitions for school students and professional development for secondary school mathematics and statistics teachers. The Association is also an intermediary between the New Zealand Association of Maths Teachers (NZAMT), the Ministry of Education, and secondary school mathematics and statistics teachers. The Association is also and affiliate of the NZAMT, whose purpose is to improve the teaching of mathematics and statistics in New Zealand.
