Mission
The Botanical Society of Otago aims to bring together people interested in botany (in the broadest sense); to promote knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of botany through literature, art and science; to promote the conservation of NZ's indigenous flora; to educate and enthuse the general public on botanical matters; to provide advice to other bodies on botanical matters; and to further botanical knowledge, all especially but not only within Otago.
