To promote thriving and inclusive communities by facilitating and supporting the successful settlement and integration of migrants and refugees in Aotearoa by: 1. Facilitating and supporting initiatives or opportunities that prioritise settlement, belonging and wellbeing outcomes for new migrants and former refugees; Developing and delivering inter-cultural services of excellence that promote, facilitate, monitor and improve the economic integration of migrants and refugees into Aotearoa, and assisting migrants to access a wide range of health, education and social services; 4. Forging positive relationships between New Zealanders from refugee backgrounds and the wider community, as well as advocating for support and programmes to assist in the settlement process; 5. Co-ordinating input to regional and national settlement and integration policies and strategies;
