Mission: The purpose of AULSS, under section 4(1) of our Constitution (please see attached), is to “promote the general welfare of Law Students studying at the University of Auckland in order to make law studies more enjoyable and rewarding.” In order to achieve this purpose, under section 4(2) of our Constitution, AULSS aims to: a) assist the discussion of issues that relate to Law Students; b) provide representation and advocacy on issues affecting students’ legal education; c) further the cultural, sporting and social interests of Law Students; d) promote and provide opportunities for Law Students to enhance their legal education and careers; e) provide and promote activities for the benefit and enjoyment of Law Students; f) maintain and build a relationship with TRT and PILSA; and g) provide Legal Competitions for Law Students to compete in.
