AUCKLAND SCHOOLS DEBATING CHARITABLE TRUST BOARD

The purpose of the Trust will be to advance the education of secondary school students in and around the Auckland region by using debating to promote public speaking, critical thinking, and encourage students to engage with current affairs. In particular the trust will: Provide workshops on debating for secondary school students that focus on how to deliver public speeches, and examine presented arguments. Operate debating competitions for secondary school students throughout the school year.
